You are invited to join us for our annual homage to Dia de los Muertos / Day of the Dead with a cultural celebration in the tradition of the Hispanic Southwest.

Community groups, guest artists and gallery members pay personal tribute to Dia de los Muertos with altars, ofrendas (offerings), paintings and sculpture.

All events are open to the public, donations appreciated! (Please, no cameras or recording equipment).

Closing celebration - Refreshments, music and poetry reading. Join us in celebrating the publication of a new book of poems by Tucson author Valerina Quintana.

Valerina, a founding member of Mujeres Que Escriben (Women Who Write), will read from her new book "Full Moon Rising" at 7:30 PM.

 

Exhibition runs November 1 - November 21, 2009

Regular gallery hours: Friday and Saturday 1:00 - 5:00 PM or by appointment.
Teachers are encouraged to call for field trip information!
